  6. Do I need to use a clear coat?
    No, the clear coat is already mixed in.

  7. Is it water or solvent based?
    Solvent based.

  8. Can I use this in my engine bay?
    No, this is for the exterior only, it will not withstand high heat.

  9. What are your spray paint formulas made with? 
    We use high-quality automotive acrylic urethane with a base coat and clear coat mixed sourced from our partners at BASF paint lines. This ensures a durable and professional finish for your vehicle.

  10. Why is my spray can order taking longer to arrive? 
    We follow the D.O.T. shipping guidelines for hazardous materials which requires all hazardous materials to be shipped via ground surface only. This can result in longer shipping times than usual. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

  11. How long does it take for spray can orders to ship? 
    All spray paint cans are custom mixed to order and will require 1-2 business days to go through the mixing and packaging stages. Unfortunately, we don’t just pull your paint off the shelf.

  12. How long does the spray paint take to dry/cure? 
    It takes 24 hours to dry and cure completely.

  13. Do I need to use primer/ if yes what kind?
    Yes, if you're painting plastic, aluminum, or polystyrene. You can use a primer that is compatible with the surface you are spraying.

  14. What happens if I don’t use primer before painting my car?
    Without using primer the paint will fade, crack, and deteriorate very quickly.

  15. How to avoid dry spray?
    We recommend spraying at least 6-8 inches from the target to avoid dry spray.

  16. Why did my paint run?
    You may have applied the paint too thick; this will cause running paint.

  17. Should I test the paint?
    Yes, you should always test the paint to get a feel for the spray flow rate before use. We suggest testing it on a piece of cardboard.

  18. How to prevent clogging?
    To prevent clogging, turn the can upside down and spray for about five seconds, or until clear gas comes out. You can also wipe off the nozzle before storing the can.

  19. Do you offer returns on spray paint cans?
    We do not offer returns on spray paint cans because they are all custom mixed per order.

  20. Do I have to sand the spots on my car before spray painting them?
    Yes, sanding creates a bond for the paint.
